The Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah organize the second season of the Classic Cars and Motorcycle Forum

The Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah, in cooperation with the Emirates Automobile and Motorcycle Organization, under the supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah bin Shukr, a member of the Emirates Automobile and Motorcycle Organization, organized the "Classic Cars and Bikes Forum", the second season, under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, may God protect him

 The forum included 30 rare classic cars and 11 classic bikes that were not previously displayed, dating back to the period between 1935-1990. They were shown over Thursday and Friday, corresponding to 28-29 January 2021 in front of the Ras Al Khaimah National Museum to attract lovers and lovers of classic and rare vehicles.

The forum also included an exhibition of a rare collection of antique collectibles, devices and accessories of old cars, which amounted to 150 pieces. During the event, there was an auction of fifty rare heritage pieces in partnership and organized by the Royal Cornar Auction Management Company, where the auction was met with great demand from the collectors of heritage pieces.

His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Tunaiji, The General Manager of the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah, stated that the department organized this forum based on the impressive success achieved by the forum in its first season last year and coinciding with the phase of recovery that the country is witnessing at the present time in addition to the great turnout and increasing demand from amateurs and lovers of classic cars Those who participated in the forum last year and those who did not have the opportunity to participate during the first season, as the forum is an umbrella that brings together the owners of this hobby under one roof.

For his part, Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah bin Shukr, the organizer of this event, added that the hobby of collecting classic cars and rare parts is one of the hobbies that have begun to take their place and position at the state level, and that there are many interested in this hobby, which we support and support its owners through organizing such forums.

Amal Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi, Director of the Institutional Communication Office, added that the department is working on diversification in its plans, initiatives and activities directed at the community and diversity also in the field of partnerships with entities, institutions and individuals, which ensures access to the largest possible segment of society, and the department also works to implement security and safety standards and implement precautionary measures. It is related to the Covid-19 pandemic, with the aim of protecting the visitors and attendees of the forum.​
