The Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah signed a memorandum of cooperation and partnership with the Emirates Cultural and Sports Club, where this memorandum came to strengthen and consolidate relations with the authorities and institutions that serve the cultural sector in the emirate and an entry point for exchanging experiences, skills and best practices in this vital sector and feeding this sector with initiatives, activities and events common cultural.

 Ahmed Obaid Al Tunaiji, General Manager of the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah, said that the department, as a heritage and cultural department, always seeks to search for new partnerships and images of cooperation with all local and international institutions and bodies that sponsor the cultural aspect, as the department has signed a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding since the beginning of this year, which contributes to enhancing the culture of society and containing a large segment of intellectuals and interested persons from various cultural sectors, and the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Cultural and Sports Club is a documentation of one of the important partnerships that will contribute to achieving the goals of the two institutions.

 

For his part,  Yousef Abdullah Al-Batran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Cultural and Sports Club, said that signing this memorandum comes from the standpoint of consolidating the bonds of partnership and cooperation, consolidating the relationship with the various departments and creating a friendly relationship with all segments of society, as well as putting forward many initiatives and ideas with the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah.
