ِAntiquities & Museums of Ras Al-Khaimah employees visits the Louvre Museum

Within the ( Visits ) initiative launched, last year, The Department of Antiquities & Museums in Ras Al-Khaimah made a visit to the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi . The visit aimed at granting the department's staff the opportunity to be acquainted with that great cultural edifice and the collections that the Museum has, in addition to promoting the Employee Happiness Program and entertaining them in a way that breaks the routine and offers benefit to both employees and the Department . Moreover, such visits offers the employees new horizons of creativity and innovation.

His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al-Teniji, the General Manager of the Department of Antiquities & Museums stated that the visit aimed at improving the collaboration that started by the beginning of last year between the Department and The Louvre Museum as the Department lent The Louvre Abu Dhabi one of its most precious antiques dated back to 2000 years BC, and which was found in some tomb of Kings at Dayah Archaeological Area in Ras Al-Khaimah.

Al-Teniji added that the visit to the Louvre Abu Dhabi offered the opportunity to the employees to travel among different civilizations in a journey through ages to be acquainted with a number of various human cultures hosted by that unique Landmark of the Middle East.

Amal Ibrahim Al-Nuaime , Head of Corporate Communication Office added that : " The initiative improves communication and interaction with the entities and institutions involved with the sector of Antiquities and Museums in the country , as it presents new horizons for cooperation between the department and these entities ". She, also, affirmed that the department will arrange a number of different visits to a variety of Museums and Archaeological sites all over the country within the initiative of ( Visits ).
