Antiquities and Museums Department Celebrate Emirati Women in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Bint Juma Al Majid

In response to the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the Women's Union and the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Childhood and Motherhood, that the 28th of August is a day to celebrate the Emirati women and under the patronage of Her Highness  Sheikha Hana Bint Jumah Al Majid, wife of his Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqar Al Qassimi, Supreme council member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah  The Intiquities and Museums Department of Ras Al Khaima  In cooperation with the Emirates Society for Social Development and   Shamal Society for Arts, Folklore and Theater, the Antiquities and Museums Authority in Ras Al Khaimah organized a ceremony entitled Women and Heritage 
During the ceremony, HE Ahmed Obaid Al-Taniji, Director General of the Department, conveyed the message that the Emirati Women's Day is an honor for women and an enhancement of their role and role in society. Emirati women are distinguished by their active participation in their community  and he also said  Women have assumed leadership positions, To take responsibility along with the man to become a partner in the construction and establishment of this society  
The ceremony was attended by   Amal Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi, The manager of the Institutional Communication Office at the Department of Antiquities and Museums, with the participation of    Maryam Saeed Al-Wagef, Heritage trainers ,  and  Sheikha Mohammed Al-Hai, Writer and Researcher in the field of Heritage, and Dr. Badria Mohammed Al-Houla, the first Emirati who have  a PhD in Heritage.   Mariam Abdulla Al Shehhi   Trainer in the field of Emirati habits , where the session discussed a number of axes such as supporting the wise leadership of women in the field of heritage and the role of education in the transfer of heritage for future generations
