In response to the directives of HH Sheikh Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak,  , on Thursday March 15, 2018 is the day of the Emirati child in the country, the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah in cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development and  Shamal Society of Arts and heritage organized activities aimed at introducing children to the old games, which represent the heritage of the country

he event started with a workshop about popular games and a simple explanation of how these games were played in the past and the physical, psychological, social and behavioral benefits that the players gain in playing these games. In addition, they have influenced the development of the spirit of cooperation and communication. Also it explained and the classification of these games as games for males and other females, where children applied what was explained in a yard dedicated to popular games, and included many of the traditional activities performed by children such as the art of Al yola and Wahhab  Folklore   live show  and  heritage wedding ceremony,  , and the handicraft shows,  .
