In response Uto the high directions, the month of February is the month of innovation in the UAE under the slogan "Emirates innovates" The Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah organized a workshop entitled "Understand, Think, Innovate", which targeted under the initiatives of the Department for Innovation Month
HE Ahmed Obaid Al-Tenaiji, General Manger of the Department said that this workshop was prepared by employees of the Department for the Month of Innovation. The workshop aimed at introducing the concept of innovation to the school students and linking them to the archeology and museums sector and motivating them to generate innovative ideas that serve this field. The workshop also focused on the importance of employing innovative ideas, methods and tools in the service of museums and historical buildings, through methods of displaying artifacts and information. And make it available to the public through the innovative promotion of archaeological sites.
Amal Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, Director of the Institutional Communication Office, said: "The workshop depended on a number of foundations. At the beginning of the workshop, we were keen to explain the concept of innovation, its importance, its fields, the creative qualities of the innovator and the return on the homeland and the individual through adopting the concept of innovation. On how to preserve archaeological buildings and their historical significance. At the conclusion of the workshop, students applied some of the skills they acquired in the workshop through the use of simple tools to make and create some models
